Viral infections and colds tend to have “perfect” timing—like when you have a business trip coming up or were looking forward to a long-planned party. Illness simply doesn’t ask whether it suits your schedule. Especially during autumn and winter, it pays to support your immunity before you start feeling under the weather. But vitamin C alone won’t guarantee strong immunity. It takes systematic care on several fronts—for example, with comprehensive food supplements like ShieldPro. What does it contain, and what makes it stand out?

When you simply can’t afford to get sick
You may start thinking about immunity when…
…a runny nose is going around at school or nursery, and a few days later the whole family is sniffling. And right now, there’s no one to cover for you at work.
…you’re in contact with patients, older adults, or otherwise vulnerable people who could be put at risk by a viral infection you might catch. Or you could catch something from them. You take your regular “vitamin C” tablets, but it still doesn’t seem to be enough.
…you have a business trip, a demanding project, or several shifts in a row ahead of you, you haven’t slept much in recent weeks, and you want a bit of reassurance that nothing will knock you down at the worst possible moment.
But the immune system doesn’t have a button you switch on when your throat starts to feel scratchy. It’s a complex system that benefits from ongoing care.
The foundation is, of course, sleep, enough energy and nutrients, movement, recovery, and your overall lifestyle. But in more demanding periods, when one of these pillars is slipping or when germs seem to be coming at you from every direction, your immune system deserves even more care. That’s where food supplements come in.
Famous vitamin C alone is usually not enough. At the same time, that doesn’t mean you need to swallow a whole handful of pills every morning. ShieldPro brings together five scientifically studied ingredients for immune support in one comprehensive formula that can easily become a regular part of your long-term daily routine.
What is ShieldPro?
ShieldPro is a comprehensive formula for daily support of the body’s natural defences. It combines five ingredients that play different roles in immunity: echinacea extract, beta-glucans, vitamin C, zinc, and vitamin D3. BioPerine® piperine may help support their absorption.

Beta-glucans: one of the most interesting ingredients in the formula
Beta-glucans are polysaccharides that occur naturally in, for example, yeast and cereals. In the yeast beta-glucans found in ShieldPro, researchers are particularly interested in their ability to influence certain components of the innate immune response.
Clinical studies have, for example, suggested a link with the frequency of symptomatic cold episodes. The proposed mechanism of action includes the activation of white blood cells, which are central to our immune system.
Echinacea: a plant traditionally associated with immunity
Echinacea purpurea is one of the best-known plant ingredients associated with supporting immunity and respiratory health. Beyond traditional and natural medicine, its effects are also being explored by scientists, who have identified a possible effect on the ability of immune NK cells to recognise and eliminate target cells.
Based on current knowledge, echinacea on its own cannot yet be described as a “bulletproof shield against viruses.” Even so, it appears to be a beneficial part of comprehensive support for natural defences.
Vitamin C: a well-studied classic
You may have expected more “exotic” ingredients in ShieldPro than the old familiar vitamin C. But in line with the NOZONO brand philosophy, there’s no reason to ignore proven ingredients just because newer ones may look more appealing.
Vitamin C has a very well-studied and legislatively approved role in the functioning of the immune system. According to European authorised health claims, it contributes not only to the normal function of the immune system, but also to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
In ShieldPro, it’s also accompanied by piperine, which may support its absorption.
Zinc: an important mineral for immunity
Zinc is another micronutrient our immune system cannot do without. It contributes to its normal function as well as to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
But not all zinc is the same. ShieldPro therefore relies on organic zinc bisglycinate, meaning zinc bound to the amino acid glycine. It is often credited with better bioavailability than some inorganic forms, which are also more likely to irritate the stomach.
Vitamin D3: not just a foundation for bones
We usually associate vitamin D mainly with healthy bones, teeth, and muscles. But its role in the body doesn’t end there. According to authorised health claims, it also contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
The season of viral infections also overlaps with the time of year when we are less exposed to sunlight, which supports vitamin D production. From autumn to spring, supplementing with vitamin D is therefore almost essential—at least for Central Europeans.
ShieldPro also contains vitamin D3 in liposomal form, which is intended to increase its absorption.
So how does ShieldPro work?
ShieldPro combines vitamins and minerals with plant-based and other bioactive substances that:
-
support the activity of white blood cells;
-
target multiple mechanisms of the immune response;
-
help protect cells (including immune cells) from oxidative stress.
As a result, it:
-
saves you from swallowing several different capsules;
-
is a fitting complement to long-term, sustainable habits that support your natural defences.
What ShieldPro is not
ShieldPro is not a cold remedy or a way to avoid illness at all costs. If you’re already ill, the most important things are rest, enough fluids, and, if needed, consultation with a doctor.
Likewise, it does not replace sleep, a varied diet, or recovery. If you’re sleeping only five hours a day for several weeks and functioning under long-term stress, no food supplement will turn your immune system into an indestructible shield.
How to take ShieldPro?
The recommended daily dose is 2 capsules. It doesn’t matter whether you take ShieldPro in the morning or in the evening. Ideally, however, it should be taken after a light meal. Swallow the capsules with a sufficient amount of water.
After 2–3 months of use, it is advisable to include at least a one-month break. You can plan your use for the beginning of autumn, when viral infections tend to thrive most, and then again for the turn of winter into spring, when the body is weakened after the damp season and we also tend to overestimate the “warming power” of the timid spring sun.
When can you expect the first changes?
With immune support, changes usually don’t come overnight.
First week
The body receives a regular dose of vitamin C, D3, zinc, echinacea, and beta-glucans, which gradually begin to take effect. But subjective changes may not yet be very noticeable.
First month
After a few weeks, you may start to notice whether you feel more resilient.
Three months
Regular use may support immune balance over the longer term—for example, notice whether you handle flu season better than the people around you.
Six months and beyond
If ShieldPro suits you, you can include it in a regular cyclical routine for long-term support of resilience and natural defences (2–3 months of use, 1 month off).

Who is it for—and who is it not for?
ShieldPro is intended primarily for people who cannot afford—or simply do not want—to drop out of their normal routine:
-
parents of young children who bring one infection after another home from nursery and school;
-
teachers and healthcare professionals who are among large numbers of people every day;
-
people who work shifts;
-
those who travel often;
-
active people balancing sport, work, and other responsibilities;
-
anyone who doesn’t want four or five different supplements at home and the hassle of keeping track of them.
For people with an autoimmune condition or those being treated with immunosuppressants, it is advisable to consult a doctor before use. The same applies if you regularly take certain medications, especially blood thinners and medicines used for mental health conditions. Piperine may affect their absorption.
What does the research say?
- Beta-glucans and colds (2013)
A multicentre, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study followed 162 healthy people prone to recurrent infections over 16 weeks. In participants taking 900 mg of yeast beta-glucan daily, the number of symptomatic cold episodes was 25% lower than with placebo.
- Echinacea and NK cell activity (2024)
A randomised, double-blind study followed 80 healthy adults who took 200 mg of ethanol extract from Echinacea purpurea or a placebo for eight weeks. After eight weeks, the echinacea group showed significantly higher cytotoxic activity of NK cells, which form the first line of defence in our immune system.
- Vitamin D3 and zinc: stronger together (2022)
A study published in 2022 looked at the combined effects of vitamin D3 and zinc on immune responses. In several laboratory models, their combination more strongly supported the formation of regulatory T lymphocytes, which help keep the immune response under control, while also more strongly reducing the production of certain pro-inflammatory mediators, such as interferon-γ, than either substance alone. Vitamin D3 also increased the amount of zinc inside cells. The combination of vitamin D3 and zinc may therefore influence the regulation of the immune response more effectively than either substance on its own.

FAQ
- Isn’t it enough to just take vitamin C?
ShieldPro combines vitamin C (250% of the recommended daily intake) with vitamin D3, zinc, echinacea, beta-glucans, and BioPerine®. So if you’re looking for vitamin C to support immunity, ShieldPro helps you care for it more comprehensively.
- Can I take ShieldPro all year round?
Yes. However, rather than continuous use, a cyclical approach is more suitable: 2–3 months of use followed by at least one month off.
- Can I take it if I already have a cold?
If you are already taking ShieldPro regularly, there is no need to stop. At the same time, it is not a treatment for an ongoing infection. During illness, it does not replace rest, symptomatic treatment, or medical care if needed.
- Will it upset my stomach because it contains zinc?
The zinc bisglycinate it contains is generally better tolerated compared to other forms of zinc, especially inorganic ones. However, digestive tolerance is very individual. If you have a more sensitive stomach, it’s best to take it after a light meal.
- Can I take additional vitamin C or D3 alongside ShieldPro ?
The recommended daily dose ShieldPro contains 200 mg of vitamin C and 60 μg of vitamin D3. Any excess vitamin C is excreted by the body in urine, but for vitamin D, the European Food Safety Authority sets the upper tolerable intake for adults at 100 μg per day.
When combining multiple products, it is therefore advisable to monitor your total intake and, if in doubt, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
- How much does ShieldPro cost?
One pack of ShieldPro, containing 60 capsules, costs CZK 1,290. At two capsules a day, that means you’re investing approximately CZK 43 per day in your natural defences.
A monthly or three-month subscription offers better value, reducing your daily cost to as little as CZK 30. And if you’re not satisfied for any reason, you can make use of the 90-day money-back guarantee.
Immunity that doesn't let up. Created for year-round resilience, not just for cold season.
Caring for your immunity starts before your throat begins to feel scratchy
We can’t make sure children never bring home a runny nose from nursery, that colleagues in the office never cough, or that viral infections always give us a wide berth. But we can influence how we care for our body when it has a lot to handle.
Adding one thoughtful formula for systematic immune support to sleep, a varied diet, regular movement, and recovery is a relatively small step—but one that can make a big difference, both physically and in your calendar.
