At night, you toss and turn in bed, your mind racing uncontrollably with thoughts, and when you do finally drift off, you are wide awake again before long. So you start looking for something that will “knock you out” a little. The trouble is, you feel it the next morning too – even at ten, you still feel like a zombie. Try a different approach. DeepRest is a thoughtfully designed evening formula for easier sleep onset and better-quality sleep, without unnecessarily leaving you groggy. What active ingredients is it built on, and what can you expect from it?

When your body wants to sleep, but your mind is still in a work meeting
It’s 10:30 p.m. Your body is ready for sleep, but your mind is still running through tomorrow’s to-do list. You remember the email you never sent and start mentally planning your morning meeting.
At 11:15 p.m., after a full day, you finally put away your laptop or finish the last of your household tasks. But instead of the pleasant drowsiness you expected, a second shift begins: social media, the news, a series, one more article… and suddenly it’s half past midnight.
And then there’s a third scenario. You fall asleep without a problem, but wake up several times during the night. So in the morning, even though you spent eight hours in bed, you still do not feel fully rested.
Of course, situations like these do not necessarily mean you are lacking a specific nutrient. Sleep is the result of many processes and is influenced by factors such as routine consistency, light, movement, stress, alcohol, caffeine, the bedroom environment and overall health. Still, nutritional support in the form of a high-quality food supplement can be one piece of the puzzle that helps bring you closer to better sleep.

Why is it sometimes so hard to slow down in the evening?
During the day, we are set up for activity. The brain processes information, solves problems, responds to its surroundings, and constantly switches between tasks. When this mode continues late into the evening, simply getting into bed does not necessarily mean the body will immediately shift into rest mode.
Our circadian rhythm also comes into play – an approximately 24-hour biological system that, among other things, helps regulate wakefulness and sleep timing. Under ideal conditions, sleepiness gradually builds in the evening, while the activity of various hormones and neurotransmitters changes. But when we push the body to suppress this natural tendency because we still need to stay active in the evening, we then have to work that much harder to convince it that it is time to sleep after all.
Even then, there is no simple passive “switching off.” During the night, both the brain and body move through different phases of sleep, each with distinct functions, and their alternation is important for both mental and physical recovery.
A good evening routine therefore signals to the body that daytime activity is ending and it is time to rest, so that the next day we can get up full of energy again. And this is exactly the part of the evening where DeepRest has something to offer.
What is DeepRest?
DeepRest is a premium food supplement for evening use. Its formula is not based on melatonin or classic sedative ingredients. Instead, it combines several complementary ingredients with different biological roles.
At the same time, in line with legislation, we remain careful in how we describe their benefits. For example, there are approved health claims for magnesium and vitamin B6. But for L-theanine or apigenin, we can only refer to mechanisms and research findings.

Magnesium: why bisglycinate?
Magnesium is an essential mineral that takes part in hundreds of enzymatic reactions and contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system as well as normal muscle function. In a proven combination with vitamin B6, it can be especially helpful during periods of increased mental and physical strain.
DeepRest relies on magnesium bisglycinate – a form in which magnesium is bound to the amino acid glycine. Compared with some cheaper forms, such as magnesium oxide, bisglycinate is valued for its better absorption and bioavailability. It is also generally not associated with a laxative effect and tends to be well tolerated, even by people with more sensitive digestion.
Its effect on sleep was examined, for example, in a 2025 randomized study that tested 250 mg of elemental magnesium in bisglycinate form in 155 adults with subjectively poorer sleep quality. And the result? After four weeks, the severity of insomnia symptoms was reduced more than with placebo.
L-theanine: a treasure from the tea leaf
L-theanine is an amino acid naturally found in tea leaves, where it appears alongside stimulants – which is why drinking real tea before bed is not recommended. On its own, however, L-theanine has attracted researchers because of its potential positive effects on relaxation, cognitive function, and sleep.
And so far, it seems they were onto something. Meta-analyses have suggested small to moderate improvements in some subjectively rated sleep parameters, such as time to fall asleep or overall sleep quality. At the same time, the authors point out that studies using pure L-theanine are still relatively limited.
DeepRest contains 201 mg of L-theanine in the daily dose, which is approximately the same amount used in research.
Chamomile and apigenin
The recommended 3 capsules of DeepRest also contain 60 mg of chamomile extract. It contains a range of biologically active compounds, including the flavonoid apigenin.
Here too, it would be misleading to present this traditional herb as a “natural sleeping pill.” Still, a 2024 systematic review and meta-analysis covering ten clinical studies with 772 participants associated chamomile with some improvement in subjectively rated sleep quality and, in some studies, also with fewer nighttime awakenings.

How do the individual ingredients work together?
The purpose of the formula is not to pack the capsule with as many “exotic” ingredients as possible, but to combine well-studied compounds with different roles in a meaningful way so that they work synergistically.
Magnesium and vitamin B6 have well-described roles in the body and contribute to the proper functioning of the nervous system. L-theanine and compounds from chamomile extract are being studied in relation to relaxation and certain sleep parameters. The result is a formula focused more on evening calm than artificial sedation, developed to have the potential to genuinely support the body in its natural processes.
What DeepRest is not
DeepRest is not a sedative that instantly switches you off. At the same time, it does not replace treatment for long-term or serious sleep problems. Those are best discussed with a doctor.
How to take DeepRest
The recommended dose is 1–3 capsules daily, 30–60 minutes before bedtime. You can start with one capsule – especially if you have a lower body weight – and gradually increase the dose if needed. The capsules can be taken with or without food, but should be swallowed with a sufficient amount of water.
After 2–3 months of use, it is recommended to take a 2–4 week break, during which you can assess whether your sleep quality has stabilized and whether you still need the daily support of DeepRest, or whether you may want to return to it only during more demanding periods.
If you have a long-term sleep problem caused, for example, by working late into the night, regularly drinking alcohol and coffee in the evening, or not getting enough movement during the day, it makes sense to “take” a change in these habits alongside DeepRest.
When to expect the first changes?
First week
You may feel more relaxed in the evening. Falling asleep may become easier, and the night may feel calmer.
First month
With regular use, sleep may already feel noticeably deeper and more continuous. You wake up less and less during the night, and in the morning you feel fresher without a sense of grogginess.
Three months
After three months, associated benefits may also begin to show. Regular, good-quality sleep supports the proper functioning of the nervous system, resilience to stress, mental performance, and recovery.
Six months and more
In the long term, quality sleep is one of the foundations of both physical and mental recovery, so you may start to notice that you generally have more energy and vitality.
Who it is for – and who it is not
DeepRest is for you if you:
-
find it hard to switch from work mode or parenting mode into a state of calm in the evening,
-
have a demanding work or life pace,
-
want to include magnesium and vitamin B6 in your evening routine because you suspect you may be deficient,
-
prefer a comprehensive formula without melatonin,
-
are looking for a synergistic combination of multiple ingredients in one capsule.
Caution is advised if you are taking medication or have health concerns. Magnesium can affect the absorption of some medicines, such as certain antibiotics, levothyroxine, or bisphosphonates, so in these combinations it is advisable to allow for a time gap and consult a doctor or pharmacist. The same applies to piperine, which may affect not only absorption but also metabolism of medications. Professional advice is also appropriate during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
What does the research say?
-
Magnesium bisglycinate and sleep quality (2025)
What was studied: whether daily supplementation with 250 mg of elemental magnesium in bisglycinate form would affect symptoms of insomnia.
Who it involved: 155 healthy adults aged 18–65 with subjectively poorer sleep quality.
What was found: after four weeks, compared with placebo, there was a small but statistically significant improvement in insomnia severity scores. A more pronounced effect was observed in people with lower dietary magnesium intake.
-
L-theanine and sleep (2025)
What was studied: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized studies evaluating the effect of L-theanine on sleep parameters.
Who it involved: 897 participants from 19 studies.
What was found: L-theanine was associated with some improvement in subjective sleep onset time, daytime functioning, and overall subjectively rated sleep quality.
-
Chamomile and sleep (2024)
What was studied: a systematic review and meta-analysis of clinical studies with chamomile.
Who it involved: ten studies, 772 participants in total.
What was found: chamomile was associated with improved subjectively rated sleep quality and, in some studies, also with fewer nighttime awakenings.

Isn’t magnesium from the pharmacy enough?
The range of supplements designed to support sleep and recovery is full of “basic” magnesium products, often appealing mainly because of their low price, as well as multi-ingredient complexes that often lack transparent information about the amount and form of the specific active ingredients. Yet together with the overall composition, these are exactly what matters most.
DeepRest therefore takes a different, more meaningful approach. The formula contains only a few carefully selected ingredients, but in premium quality – and also in amounts and forms with strong, scientifically studied potential. That means you know exactly what you are getting in one daily dose. And in the evening, instead of juggling several separate products, you only need one glass jar.
DeepRest is also vegan, free from gluten, GMO, preservatives, and major allergens, and it is made in the EU.
FAQ
- Is DeepRest a natural sleeping pill?
No. It is not a medicine or a sedative. DeepRest is a combined food supplement designed for evening use, built on the benefits of scientifically verified or intensively studied ingredients such as magnesium, L-theanine, and chamomile extract.
- Does DeepRest contain melatonin?
No. The DeepRest formula does not contain melatonin or other ingredients known for their sedating effect.
- Do I have to take all three capsules?
No. The recommended dosage is 1–3 capsules daily. It is sensible to start with a lower dose and gradually increase it based on your body’s individual response.
- Can I take DeepRest every day?
Yes. DeepRest does not contain classic sedatives or hypnotics associated with a risk of dependence, and it is suitable for regular use.
- Can I take it with the magnesium I already have at home?
Basically yes, but first calculate the total magnesium dose from all supplements – it should not exceed 250 mg per day. (Magnesium obtained from a normal diet is not included in this limit.)
- Is bisglycinate better than oxide?
It cannot be said that one form is best for everyone. However, bisglycinate is among the forms that show better bioavailability in studies, and it also tends to be well tolerated even by people with sensitive digestion.
- Can I combine DeepRest with medication?
Magnesium and piperine may affect the absorption of some substances. It is best to check any specific combination with your doctor or pharmacist.
- What if I feel sleepy the morning after DeepRest?
DeepRest is designed to minimize the risk of morning drowsiness. In more sensitive individuals, however, it can still occur at a higher dose. If that happens, try reducing the dose.
- Will DeepRest solve long-term sleep problems?
If you have long-term or serious sleep difficulties, it is important to identify and ideally remove their cause. However, if you are going through a demanding situation that you cannot currently change (for example, a heavy workload or parenting demands), DeepRest may still be a suitable part of a calming evening routine.
- How soon will I notice a difference?
Every body responds differently. Effects may be felt sooner, for example, by people who were deficient in magnesium before starting. More noticeable changes, however, may generally appear after around 3–4 weeks of regular use.
- How much does DeepRest cost and how does the subscription work?
One pack of DeepRest contains 90 capsules. So if you choose the highest recommended dosage, you have a 30-day course exactly.
So you do not suddenly realize after a month that you have nothing left for tomorrow, you can choose a convenient monthly or three-month subscription, which reduces the original price of 1790 CZK by up to 15%. At your chosen interval, the next supply is automatically delivered, so you do not have to remember to reorder. The subscription can be canceled at any time.
Nozono also offers a 90-day satisfaction guarantee. This applies to three months of using the same supplement: if you take it consistently for three months and do not notice any effect, you can request a refund.
Fall asleep faster, sleep more deeply, and wake up refreshed in the morning – without melatonin and without morning grogginess
Sleep fully = live fully
DeepRest does not replace eight hours of sleep, a regular routine, or shutting down your work laptop at a reasonable time. At the same time, however, it is not just a food supplement, but also a complement to a good pre-sleep routine.
So if you are looking for an evening formula that combines guaranteed amounts of well-absorbed elemental magnesium, L-theanine, chamomile extract, and vitamin B6, DeepRest offers a simple way to bring all of these ingredients together into one calming ritual that may help you sleep – and therefore live – better and more healthily.
And if you want to make even better use of the energy gained from deeper, better-quality sleep, reach for the NeuroReset Duo bundle. Alongside DeepRest, it includes another comprehensive supplement – MindBoost, focused on supporting mental performance during the day.
A calmer night. A clearer mind. A better day
